The subject I love

I began the study of visual art in the Academy of Art University in the fall of 2004, for her Masters degree.  In the summer of 2006, I went to Russia, to the most famous
Academy of
Art, by Repin, in
Saint Petersburg.  I studied with Ivan Vituk and Konstantin Grachev in
Saint Petersburg.  The possibility to see the work of many Masters in the Academy’s museum and to study with young and talented Russian teachers, improved my ideas about the art that I want to create.   Now I have Masters in Fine Art from
Academy of
Art,
San Francisco.

The theme of my latest project was the “People on the Earth”.  I shose that because I wanted to tell a story of national development, tradition, and history through people’s appearance.  I think that I choose the subject, because people like to see other people and find the similarity and the difference between themselves and the others.  The realization about who we are could come only thro observation of others.   When I have begun my project, I have known that the subject is so enormous that the work on it is probably going to take all longer then the only ten- twelve paintings time, and so I will continue to thru my art life.  Also, I am interested in different subjects, like nudes (because to beauty of human body), or landscapes (because beauty of every day life), so I work on it when the vision of it strikes me.

In present time the stile of my work is the mix of impressionism and realism, and maybe my approach of painting will change in a couple of days, or a couple of years, but the major principals of painting: drawing, composition, values, temperature, light in color

and edges would go with my brush.Â
